Mobile Master Measuring System for flow rates 8 – 80 t/h

The client requested a state-of-the-art mobile master meter for KMN (Company Metrological Supervision).

Measurement Requirements

The master meter system is required to be a unique system, based on flow meters capable of verifying both mass flow meters and PD flow meters at the Pancevo refinery, in classes 0.3, 0.5, and 1.0.

  • Flow rates: 8 – 80 t/h
  • Compliance: Fully compliant with API MPMS 4.5

Custom-made Solution

The equipment used in the master system has type approval in Serbia and also holds PTB type approval no. DE-10-MI005-PTB010.

Instrumentation

  • Flowmeter: OPTIMASS 6400 S100, KROHNE
  • Flowmeter: BMM400, ISOIL
  • Pressure transmitter
  • Temperature transmitter
  • Density meter: L-Dens 417T Ex, Anton Paar
  • Portable data center with flow computer mounted in an appropriate suitcase

High Accuracy Calibration

  • OPTIMASS 6400 S100: Calibrated on KROHNE’s UKAS accredited calibration rig based on guidelines from API MPMS 4.5. Calibrated accuracy: 0.05%
  • BMM400 PD meter: Calibrated on Warwickshire County Council’s UKAS accredited calibration rig based on guidelines from API MPMS 4.5. Calibrated accuracy: better than 0.1%
  • Density meter L-Dens 417T Ex: Calibrated at BEV’s accredited density calibration facility with three different calibration fluids. Calibrated accuracy: 100 g/m³
