Remote Supervision and Control of Unmanned Water Supply Stations

System Upgrade with New Functionalities

  • Measurement:
    • Local and remote measurement of water flow rate and total water production.
    • Remote measurement of additive consumption for water purification.

  • Reporting: Custom and specialized reporting for comprehensive production overviews.
  • Support: Provide technical and engineering assistance for current and future projects and upgrades.

Remote Water Supply Stations and Central SCADA Station

Overview:

  • Eleven (11) remote Water Supply Stations and one central SCADA station (headquarters).

Remote Stations:

  • Each station includes:
    • Water well, pumps, and dosing section for water purification.
    • Power supply section with cabinets and frequency drives.
    • Multiple instruments for measuring pressure, water level, flow rate, total production, and power levels.
    • Automation and communication cabinets.
    • Local PLC (Siemens 1200) for data collection and control.
    • Autonomous systems for certain regulations and functions, with others controlled by the local PLC and SCADA system via remote control.
    • GPRS communication via Phoenix Contact modems (TCRouter2002T).

Central Location (Headquarters):

  • Equipped with a communication cabinet and computer station (SCADA).
  • Control center for SMS communication.

Flow Measurement

  • Flowmeters:
    • Ten (10) flowmeters installed at remote Water Supply Stations.
    • Measure current flow rate and total water production.
    • Type: Krohne Waterflux 3050, electromagnetic flowmeter for basic water applications (Krohne Waterflux 3050).
  • Level Measurement:
    • Ten (10) stations equipped with hydostatic level probes.
    • Type: Krohne Optibar LC 1010C, submersible level probe for water and wastewater applications (Krohne Optibar LC 1010C).

SCADA System

  • Designed for control and supervision of remote Water Supply Stations.
  • Real-time monitoring available from:
    • Main Overview Screen.
    • Location-specific screens.
    • Several specialized overview screens.
