Near the University Children’s Hospital TirÅ”ova, in Milutin Milanković Park, a tree-planting initiative was carried out, bringing together representatives of businesses, institutions, and the local community with the goal of creating a healthier and greener environment.

As part of the ā€œPlant a Treeā€ project, Wireless Media Group (WMG), in cooperation with the German-Serbian Chamber of Commerce and its member companies, organized this initiative to mark 25 years of successful cooperation between Serbia and Germany.

During the event, 50 tree seedlings were planted with the participation of representatives from member companies, partners, and institutions. The location of the event carries strong symbolic value. Milutin Milanković Park, named after one of the greatest Serbian scientists, represents a symbol of knowledge, development, and future generations. Its proximity to the TirÅ”ova Children’s Hospital further highlights the importance of investing in a healthier environment for the youngest.

WIG D.O.O. Belgrade also took part in the initiative, as a socially responsible company that believes sustainable development is key to long-term success, reaffirming its commitment to supporting projects that contribute to improving conditions for future generations.

The initiative was implemented as part of AHK Impact Day, an event dedicated to sustainability and corporate social responsibility. Through the joint effort of planting trees, a strong message was sent about the importance of cooperation between businesses and society in protecting the environment and enhancing the quality of life in urban areas.

Such initiatives represent a tangible contribution to the development of a more sustainable Belgrade, while also serving as a reminder that responsibility toward nature and the community is a shared task—one that belongs to everyone, from companies to individuals.
